What is a Registrar Lock?

When Registrar Lock is enabled for your domain, any requests to transfer the domain to another registrar will automatically fail. This prevents fraudulent, accidental, or unintentional transfers of your domain, which can result in the loss of your services. Should you ever want to transfer your domain to another registrar, Registrar Lock must first be disabled.

Registrar Lock does not prevent you from managing your domain or changing your hosting company; it is simply added security for your domain.
